Responsibilities_

  • Responsible for repairs and maintenance of designated areas
  • Regular check & inspection of food processing equipment in accordance with Health & Safety Procedures
  • Performs preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a regular basis; inspects belts; checks fluid levels, replaces filters, etc.
  • Procuring proper parts as instructed
  • Responds to emergency maintenance requests as required.
  • Responsible for installing, dismantling, repairing, reassembling, and moving machinery in our food processing line.

  • Shift : Requirement: (Rotational Shift ) Days, Aft, Mid-Nights including weekends
  • Compensation: Starting rate as $25$28 per hour, negotiable depending on experience

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
  • Manual dexterity and problemsolving skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food Manufacturing is an asset

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$25.00-$28.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Food Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)

  • Mechanical engineering: 2 years (required)
  • Maintenance: 2 years (preferred)
