Our Busy Dental practice in Pemberton is growing and we are looking for a friendly, detail-oriented, caring administrative assistant to join our team

Job description

Greeting patients while updating necessary medical information into our software system
Complying with covid regulations by maintaining a sanitary reception area
Provide reception services by receiving or routing calls and providing information on appointments or claims inquiries, and receiving and directing visitors as necessary
Scheduling and confirming dental appointments
Maintain Accounts, putting through payments such as cheques, debt, and credit card payments
Complete insurance and other claim forms
Manage Accounts Receivable, contacting patients or insurance companies for overdue billings as necessary
Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
Maintaining a clean and sanitary office environment

Requirements and Qualification:

Experience working within a dental or medical office is preferred
A Proficient and positive phone manner is a must
A minimum of one year of administrative assistant working experience is preferred
Enthusiasm and positive attitude and willingness to learn
Excellent organizational and time management skills

Wage:
$24-$28/hour depending on experience

Hours : 3-5 days per week, must be available fridays

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 16 per week

Salary:
From $24.00 per hour
