Position Summary

Centennial College is immediately looking for a self-starter to provide coordination and administration services to support college wide data analytics and project coordination.

Reporting to the Manager, Data Analytics and Research, the Survey Coordinator & Research Administrator will work with internal/external stakeholders to conduct and administer research activities including but not limited to:

gather and prepare data for analysis; administer and conduct surveys; project management is well-organized and that it runs smoothly.


The Survey Coordinator & Research Administrator is a detail-oriented individual who will play an active role in project development and implementation, and ensuring high quality deliverables.

The incumbent will plan, prepare, and populate tools and templates for the project life cycle, including updating documents and tables, identifying sources of information, and maintaining the stakeholder's engagement.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a wide range of coordination, course feedback and survey administration services critical to the effective and efficient operation of the team and completion of projects.
  • Assist in maintaining and monitoring project related material, plans, schedules and other documentation
  • Organize, attend, document and participate in project meetings
  • Conduct, administer and prepare data from surveys for analysis using various technical tools (i.e. Qualtrics, Watermark, etc.)
  • Capture and maintain day to day project requests and ensure projects adhere to frameworks
  • Provide administrative support for institutionalwide recurring surveys for internal and external stake holders including, but not limited to: Welcome Survey, Ontario College Student Experience Survey, Graduate Outcomes survey, etc.
  • Communicate with stakeholders throughout the project to ensure that their needs are being met and that project objectives are being achieved.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external groups on the development and completion of various project deliverables, as required
  • Manage and maintain survey databases, and ensure that data is secure and confidential in accordance with the data governance policies prevalent at Centennial.
  • Coordinate and schedule the deliverance of daily, weekly, and/or monthly project meetings and working sessions
  • Maintain logs during project life cycle (recording actions, issues, root causes, and corrective actions)
  • Interpret and implement project coordination standards and procedures, and evaluating their adequacy
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience

  • Master's degree in Business, Social Sciences, Economics, Communication or a related field required
  • Three (3) years research experience working in a highly diverse and everchanging related work environment; experience working in an educational institution or nonprofit organization within a customer service focused role supporting managers
  • Experience in project coordination and survey administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of other postsecondary education environments and survey methodologies
