Press Feeder Helper

Job Summary:

High production printing and packaging facility looking for a full time employee to prepare and dispose of materials used in the press room.

Responsibilities:

Prepare materials for Printing Presses and Diecutting Equipment
Unpackaged
Placed on press ready skids
Lined up at each machine in the order of the job list for that day
Manage ink and press room supplies that are required for each machine
Read and Understand Job
Properly dispose of left over material or waste packaging from each job
Report any issues found with materials to the Press Room Supervisor
Keep a clean and safe working environment

Skills + Qualifications:

Must be able to read, write and understand English
Must be able to do basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
Must be physically fit enough to push, pull, open and pile paper, plastic and cardboard
Must have knowledge on how to use hand pallet trucks
Forklift experience is not required but considered an asset
Training and licensing available
Must have good listening skills, good work ethics and the ability to be at work on time everyday
Previous pressroom experience is considered an asset but not required

2 shifts available Mon-Fri 7am3pm and Mon-Thurs 3pm1am
Paid biweekly on Fridays via direct deposit
