North America Marketing Specialist Go to Market - Mississauga, Canada - SodaStream
Description
We are looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our Canadian Marketing team.You will be responsible for providing overall support to the marketing team in the "Go To Market" areas of in-store marketing, (shopper marketing, demos/events, displays and racks) along with Trade, Product, & other customer-specific marketing initiatives.
The specialist will act as the primary liaison between the sales and marketing team, ensuring execution excellence for product launches, new doors, trade shows and in-store activations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the development of briefs for themed instore programs for sellingin programs and execution of collateral materials for programs.
- Assist in the development & execution of customer digital programs (Walmart Media Group, etc.)
- Lead the creation and execution of our demos and experiential marketing programs.
- Tracking the execution and impact on sales of programs, initiatives, and product launches.
- Execution of packaging changes as required.
- Coordination with vendors for trade marketing pieces ensuring ontime execution for all programs.
- Manage relationships with agency partners from RFP to execution.
- Managing and tracking inventory of instore racks and other pointofsale materials.
- Working closely with the sales team to ensure new doors are opened on brand and with all POSM & rack requirements.
- Assist in developing shopper marketing programs and act as the lead contact between our shopper marketing agency and printing agency.
- Assist in managing the POSM & rack budget and set up all PO's for approval.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, in Marketing or related field.
- 2+ years Shopper, Experiential, or Trade Marketing experience.
- A passion for developing strong instore programs, that make the brand come to life at store level.
- Must have strong verbal & written communication skills, time management skills and strong attention to detail.
- A good understanding of the Canadian retail marketplace.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and proven experience in providing superior customer service to vendors, retailers, customers and internal stakeholders.
- High energy and the ability to be resilient in a very dynamic environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office Skills, and ability to adapt to new technology and systems.
- Strong cross functional collaboration skills
