Overview:

Responsibilities:


  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized work area at all times
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages

Skills:


  • Proven experience as a Line Cook in the restaurant or food industry
  • Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Familiarity with industry best practices in food safety and sanitation
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$17.00-$22.00 per hour
