Responsibilities and Duties
Key Accountabilities:
- Pack and cut molds of different materials such as rubber or silicone
- Prep master models for mold cutting
- Prequality check on all items coming from casting
- Precheck on sizing and make necessary changes when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of tumbling machines and keep track of media break down
- Cleaning and plating (rhodium plating)
- Laser zapping, necklace assembly, cage assembly (pendants/rings)
- Maintenance of Laser Welding machine filter change, cleaning lens, change water due to temperature over heat
- Steamers flush out iron deposits
- Stamping of all metals, matching to job bags prior to proceeding to Stone Setting
- Must be compliant to wearing PPE when operating machinery
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 2 years Jewellery experience in school or trade
- Effective communication and troubleshoot skills
- High school education
- Must be able to work varying afternoon shift (and or weekends if required)
- Able to work well with mínimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail
