Marine Technician - Full Time/Part time - Canadian Armed Forces

  • Full time_ Marine Technicians operate all marine systems engineering equipment onboard ship, Including Engines, Generators, electrical systems and plumbing systems. They are also experts at Firefighting and Damage Control.
  • Part time_ Marine Technicians Perform maintenance and Repair on Small Boats and Boat engines at our local base.
Must be a _Permanent Resident_ or _Canadian Citizen_
The minimum required education to join is Grade 11 Highschool English and Math.
No experience Required, you start as an apprentice and work your way up. Every year that goes by and every promotion is a pay raise.

Starting Wage: 124.40$/day

This is a military position and will require that you go through basic training.
Full time Basic Training: 10 weeks
Part time Basic Training: 3 Weeks in Vancouver, followed by 3 weeks in Quebec.

Following basic Training we send you to Trades school in Victoria or Halifax for a semester.
