As aMountain Bike Instructor, you will be responsible for ensuring an excellentguest experience in all of our various programs. You must be athletic,passionate, and have strong communication skills. You will demonstrate a funand responsible approach to working with guests and fellow employees and willdeliver an incomparable, customized learning experience in a safe andencouraging environment.

As a Bike Repair Technician, our guests feel safe riding their bikes knowing that you performed therepairs. You are technically inclined and have experience with mountain bikes.You take pride in providing guests with the best vacation and recreationexperience possible.

You will:

· Ensure the safety of allstudents and guests and provide an exceptional mountain experience throughprofessional instruction on a mountain bike.

· Contribute to aprofessional, supportive environment for other Instructors and KHMR staff.

· Safely repair and maintain the rental fleet, guestbikes and other equipment.

· Provide an exceptional level of customer servicethrough direct interaction, sales and service.

· Assist rental staff with safely sizing and fittingappropriate equipment.

· Handle cash when necessary.

· Clean gear, bikes andmaintain tidiness and organization of the store.

· Sell retail products instore (clothing, bike parts and other items).

· Work flexible shifts withvarying hours, depending on factors such as weather and visitation levels.

· Engage in daily teammeetings, training and other communications necessary to provide a high-quality experience for guests of theresort.

· Work for extended periodsin harsh weather conditions (cold, wind, heat, altitude).

· Perform other duties asassigned.

You:

· Hold a PMBIA Level 1 orequivalent; PMBIA Level 2 or 3 would be ideal.

· Have advanced downhillmountain bike skills.

· Have previous experience repairing, tuning andmaintaining bikes.

· Are able to lift at least 25 pounds and arecomfortable handling bike parts.

· Are passionate aboutinstructing and creating a safe and engaging learning environment.

· Have experience in acustomer service role – preferably a rental or retail establishment.

· Have a completed criminalbackground check.

· Have sufficient strength,physical condition, and stamina to be able to conduct mountain bike lessons forextended periods of time.
