Apex Geomatics continues to expand and we are currently seeking
Construction Surveyors to join our operations on various projects throughout Western Canada.

These opportunities are Fly In, Fly Out (FIFO) on a 14/7 rotation with exceptional camp accommodations and flights provided. We are hiring immediately and would love to hear from you

Responsibilities:

Manage and perform various field survey tasks independently or with the aid of a Survey Assistant.
Inspect, operate and maintain survey equipment and vehicles.
Prepare and communicate daily field notes, sketches and reports according to job specifications and Apex operational procedures.
Effective communication and flow of information from field to office.
Ensure full compliance and active participation in Apex Geomatics' Health and Safety Program.
Adherence with quality assurance procedures and quality control practices.
Provide mentorship and training to Junior Surveyors and Survey Assistants.
Liaise with client representatives to coordinate survey tasks, priorities and deliverables.
As a representative of Apex Geomatics, you are to conduct yourself with a professional, cordial attitude with clients.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Geomatics Technology or equivalent amount of related experience.
3+ years' experience as a Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry.
Must be proficient with the use of Trimble Robotic Total Stations and related software to perform highprecision surveys.
Experience with Civil 3D and Trimble Business Centre are considered an asset.
Line locating and UAV experience would also be considered an asset.
Technical competence and a strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate with team members.
Valid Class 5 Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract.
CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015.
