Position:
Dance Instructor
Location:
No. 3 Road, Richmond, BC
Compensation:
- $38.00 / Hour, 30 hours per week
- 2 weeks paid vacation per year or 4%
Responsibilities:
- Plan, choreograph, and deliver various styles of dancing
- Create curriculums and lesson plans for various styles of dancing and skill level
- Teach individual and group lessons ranging from youth to adults
- Choreograph routines, dance selections, and music choices
- Teach dance techniques, fitness knowledge, alignment, and rhythm
- Provide an encouraging and fun environment for students
- Oversee practice and rehearsals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, College certificate, or Dance Academy certificate in Dance
- 3 years or more of professional dance teaching experience
- Experience as a professional dancer
- Able to teach all age and skill levels
- Awards and certificates will be considered
- Experience with traditional Asian dance styles will be an asset
Salary:
$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week

Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
