Job description
We are looking for a sharp, nimble, and detail-oriented Junior AI Agent Writer & Designer to join our team at 30 Ninjas. As Junior AI Agent Writer & Designer, you will work closely with the AI Agent Writer and Designer in developing an AI Character of an interactive app for a new technology. The role involves creative writing, technical writing, data collecting, data analyzing, sourcing materials, research, and problem solving. This role is remote, contracted, part time to start, potential for full time.
START DATE: 03/27/26
ESTIMATED END DATE: 06/30/26
Expected: 20-40 hours a week.
Rate: $25-30/ hr USD
Time Zone: Both PST or EST
Key Responsibilities
Prompt Iteration & Design: Assist in drafting, testing, and refining complex AI prompts to improve AI agent accuracy, tone, and personality.
Knowledge Bank Management: Assist in updating and structuring the internal "Knowledge Bank" (RAG sources) to ensure the AI has access to the most current and accurate information.
QA Collaboration: Review error reports from the Quality Assurance team to help diagnose why an agent provided a hallucination, incorrect tone, or logic error.
A/B Testing: Conduct "battle tests" between different prompt versions to see which yields the highest quality output and write short summaries of findings.
Documentation: Maintain a log of prompt versions and logic changes so the team understands the evolution of the agent's behavior.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Prompt Engineering or interacting deeply with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.
- Background in film studies, writing or journalism.
Basic understanding of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) or how AI uses external data.
- Basic knowledge of filmmaking, scene breakdown, camera movements and/or technical aspects of video production.
- Proficient in Google workspace applications and cloud-based cooperation
- Characteristics: Willingness to learn, clear communication, multi-tasker, selfstarter, teamplayer.
