Job Description:


This project encompasses all Fairmont Hotels across Canada and the United States and requires extensive travel and extended stays on property at involved hotels.


Responsibilities:


  • Facilitate change management and provide expert guidance in onsite meetings, training, and activities
- training, cutover, go live, etc.
- complete project tasks and deliverables as assigned and/or required;

  • Work with internal business partners in developing and implementing specific processes and work flow;
  • Act as the relay for communications between the project team and stakeholder;
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Extensive travel will be required.

Qualifications:


  • Department head level leadership experience in luxury hotel operations
  • Housekeeping, Front Office, Central Service, or Reservations.
  • Experience and knowledge of luxury hotel standards, policies & procedures are an asset
  • Experience in using Opera PMS
  • Opera Cloud knowledge an asset
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills;
  • Excellent presentation skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage change at all levels of the operation
  • Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills
  • Knowledge/understanding of Interfaces and system integrations is an asset

Personal Characteristics:

  • Ability to work effectively with people in a fast paced environment, while remaining positive
  • Selfstarter; displaying initiative; highly organized and outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills and ability to quickly make decisions
  • Strong project management and ability to manage multiple ongoing projects
