Marketing Coordinator


We are seeking an innovative marketing, goal-driven coordinator to promote our company's brand and services and perform essential research needed to create an impactful marketing strategy.

In this role, you will be optimizing our marketing strategies, managing the marketing department's budget and staff, as well as preparing forecasts.

The marketing coordinator's responsibilities include developing, implementing, and tracking marketing strategies.


Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:


  • Evaluating and optimizing marketing and pricing strategies.
  • Analyzing market trends and preparing forecasts.
  • Generating new business leads.
  • Increasing brand awareness and market share.
  • Coordinating marketing strategies with the sales, financial, public relations, and production departments.
  • Developing and managing the marketing department's budget.
  • Overseeing branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
  • Preparing and presenting quarterly and annual reports to senior management.
  • Promoting our brand at trade shows and major industryrelated events.
  • Keeping informed of marketing strategies and trends.
  • Connecting user behavior with a viable marketing strategy.
  • Liaising with the marketing team to brainstorm a marketing campaign.
  • Reporting to the sales team to offer suggestions on promotions.
  • Develop strategic marketing initiatives and activities.
  • Conduct market research to identify marketing opportunities and negotiate media coverage.
  • Organize and streamline service offerings into userfriendly concepts.
  • Simplify complex data into a userfriendly format such as graphs, charts and other visual aids for clients and management.
  • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic to our front door.
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.

Marketing Coordinator Requirements:


  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, marketing, finance, business administration, or similar.
  • At least two years' experience as marketing coordinator in accounting industry.
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and motivate.
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
  • Critical thinker with strong problemsolving and research proficiencies.
  • Experience with social media.
  • An excellent understanding of how to interpret data.
  • Topnotch communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and consumer behavior.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to simplify complex information into a userfriendly format.
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required to learn.
  • A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

Salary:
From $35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
