Goldkey Langley Volkswagen/Isuzu has a opening in its Parts Department we are looking for an experienced Assistant parts manager either with Medium duty Trucks and willing to learn Volkswagen parts as well or vise a versa.
This person will work closely with the parts manager to ensure inventory levels are good assisting techs with there orders to make sure they are ordered correctly.
Guiding parts staff with everyday challenges and handling customers as well.Responsibilities:
- Promptly meet and greet parts customers/Techs in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Listen to customers/Techs reasons for requesting certain parts and accessories.
- Offer appropriate parts or accessories to satisfy customer requirements.
- Provide accurate quotes for all parts or accessories recommended.
- Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously.
- Ensure all parts are inspected upon arrival and any damages noted.
- Assist on returns regularly based on the required guidelines.
- Work with your technicians for vehicle/Truck repair and maintenance.
- Contact potential new wholesale customers and ask for business.
- Ensure inventory is accurately maintained, report discrepancies
- Complete yearly training courses
Experience:
- Experience with ordering, tracking and stocking required.
- Forwardfacing customer service experience or sales experience.
- Vehicle parts experience minimum 3yrs.
- Knowledge and understanding of parts.
Technical Skills:
- Experience with DMS software such as CDK an asset.
- Excellent organizational, time management skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with ease.
