Duties:
- Assist with the coordination and production of RFXs to source good and services
- Facilitation of communication process for specific initiatives while obtaining required information from clients to perform assigned work
- Development and maintenance of an initiative contact list
- Ongoing maintenance of document management system
- SAP Ariba Contract Management Module
- Ensure completeness of documents; following up with stakeholders on outstanding documentation; scanning documents, filing and photocopying, as required
- Upload and update items including procurement record status on the SharePoint and contract records in Ariba
- Investigation of general enquiries related to the sourcing activities
- Data entry and data management
- Support of ongoing sourcing initiative planning process and process improvement
- Coordination of supplier site visits and other sourcing activities as required
- Perform other procurement duties as required by manager test
Qualifications:
- College Diploma or equivalent work experience
- A minimum of (2) years of proven experience in a public procurement role, including demonstrated contract management experience
- Awareness of procurement processes, accounts payables, and receiving functions will be preferred
- Ability to effectively operate computer, software, and peripheral equipment (i.e., Windows operating system, Microsoft Office including Outlook, Project, Excel, Visio, Access)
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decisionmaking skills
- A flexible and adaptable team player who is service oriented
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with superior organizational and analytical abilities
