Description

The Maintenance Operator is responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in assigned area(s).

Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Responsibilities:

Occasionally performs inspections, maintenance, repairs, and diagnostic duties on mechanical systems
Controls the daily operation of the computerized building automation system (BAS) and all functions of building systems and equipment
Supervises external contractors and technicians during projects being completed inside the facility
Performs tasks required to help successfully execute an event (electrical hook ups, lighting adjustments, etc.)
Performs other maintenance tasks as required (building repairs, painting, etc.)
Performs snow removal/landscaping
Must have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
Performs general and preventative maintenance on facilities and equipment

Qualifications:

HVAC experience is an asset.
At least 23 years of previous experience in a similar role
Must be able to do shift work when required
Successful applicant must possess at minimum completed high school education
Must be able to work weekends and holidays when required
Required to complete a criminal background check prior to starting employment
