The Opportunity

Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee all financial and accounting operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger accounting.
Manage and lead a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Develop and maintain financial systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support business decisions and growth strategies.
Provide strategic financial guidance to the senior management team and board of directors.
Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Maintain relationships with financial institutions and other key stakeholders.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
7+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience in financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with financial systems and tools, including ERP and financial reporting software.
Ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Experience in the payments or fintech industry is an asset.
