Leahey's Landscaping and Contracting Limited is a local company that provides commercial and municipal snow removal.We have snow removal positions for equipment operators:
snowplow operator positions for HRM sidewalk snow removal in Peninsula Halifax. We have a large fleet of sidewalk equipment that is state of the art and well maintained. Equipment is inclosed and heated. Snowplow operators will be responsible to safely run sidewalk loaders/tractors to clear snow/ice, along a dedicated sidewalk route.
Requirements/skills:
- valid drivers license
- clean drivers abstract
- previous snow removal experience (an asset)
- ability to safely run equipment
- ability to complete required safety paperwork
- working cell phone
- communicate well with all staff
- weather dependent/ability to work on call (days, nights, weekends, holidays)
We offer competitive hourly pay and winter bonuses.

Casual, Part-time
Salary:
$20.00-$40.00 per hour
Schedule:
