Description
Eaton's ES AMER PCS CA division is currently seeking a Quality Coordinator (OPEX). This position is based at our Perth, Ontario manufacturing and distribution facility.


What you'll do:


As a Quality Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout our organization.

You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control processes, conducting audits, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize our products/services.

Also, you will lead Quality Assessment activities in all areas of our site in support of the Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS), ISO and the Eaton Business System (EBS).

You'll be responsible for providing support and Quality Leadership for supplier quality, process, and customer quality.


Additional Responsibilities:


  • Work in partnership with the team site to support all development projects and milestones related to Quality and improve the overall process to achieve zero defect quality and launch readiness.
  • Support EQMS and ISO 9001 quality system and supports the implementation and management of the site quality system and procedures.
  • Support customer complaints (Internal-External) related to the facility and for tracking, monitoring and initiating Corrective Actions.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and protocols and conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement. Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Facilitate training programs to promote quality awareness and adherence to standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product/service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain documentation and records related to quality assurance activities.
  • Supervise and follow process for the Returns function, Quality Inspection and Product Integrity Center.
  • Follow up to the key indicators about Cost of Non-Conformance (Warranty, Rework, Scrap, E&O, Freight, Maintenance & Overtime)

Qualifications:


Required (Basic) Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, etc.) or related disciplines from an accredited institution
  • Three (3+) or more years of experience in manufacturing processes, working in a Quality or Industrial manufacturing related role
  • Previous experience in quality assurance and knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
  • Knowledge of assembly operations, gauging, and testing

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience performing Quality Audits ISO 9001 standards is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to solve problems utilizing common problemsolving methodologies/tools such as PDCA, DMAIC, 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone diagrams, is/is not tables, pareto charts, control charts, etc.
  • Experience working in electrical sector.
  • Proven ability to write technical documents such as procedures and specifications.
  • Good understanding of lean concepts, principles & tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Continuous Flow Manufacturing, Setup Reduction, Pull Systems and Standardized Work.
  • Six Sigma Yellow/Green/Black Belt certification
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
  • Ability to read and understand Blueprints, Specifications, and requirements.
  • Proven ability to query and manipulate data using MS Excel, MS Access, Minitab, Power BI and/or other programs and transform data into information.
