MuleSoft Developer - Public Sector (Contract)

Location: Toronto, ON. Hybrid (onsite 3 days/week)

Duration: 1 year

On behalf of our client, Public Sector Organization, Equality Street is seeking a highly skilled MuleSoft Developer to join the client's dynamic team on a contract basis for 1-year assignment with a possibility of extension. As a MuleSoft Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing Enterprise Application Integration Solutions within the MuleSoft platform. This is a contract position with a focus on vaccine management solutions, ensuring critical functionalities for public health units and organizations. Responsibilities:

• Develop Enterprise Application Integration Solutions within the MuleSoft platform.
  
• Apply best practices and expertise to build robust applications, focusing on vaccine management solutions.
  
• Provide technical expertise in Anypoint Platform 4.x & Anypoint Studio 7.x, including Salesforce integration using Bulk APIs and MuleSoft integration patterns.
  
• Design and develop performing MuleSoft code, incorporating error handling and key Mule components such as Batch, Scheduler, DataWeave 2.0, and ObjectStore.
  
• Collaborate with other developers, business analysts, QA analysts, and project managers to ensure successful project delivery.
  
• Define and implement data transfer between source and target systems, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  
• Research MuleSoft capabilities to address business requirements and provide gap analysis.
  
• Create actionable technical documentation based on gathered business requirements.
  
• Develop integration APIs and flows across all layers.
  
• Provide support for Covid-19 Vaccine Management Solution, including critical fixes and changes.
  
• Participate in cross-functional teams addressing strategic business issues.
  
• Maintain development environments and adopt Continuous Integration (CI) practices.
  

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• 10+ years of full-cycle software development experience with 3-5 years+ hands-on experience with MuleSoft Design and Development.
  
• MuleSoft Certified Developer (preferred).
  
• Experience in Salesforce integration using Bulk APIs and MuleSoft integration patterns.
  
• CloudHub administration experience.
  
• GitLab experience, including integration with MuleSoft.
  
• Proficiency in MuleSoft Anytime platform, Mule connectors, API Gateway, and RESTful APIs.
  
• Strong understanding of data integration (real-time and batch) across multiple platforms.
  
• Familiarity with Java, JSON, XML, HL7/FHIR, and RESTful web services.
  
• Experience with version control systems like SVN or GitLab.
  
• Working knowledge of issue tracking systems such as Jira.
  
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps methodologies.

Public Sector/Healthcare Experience:

• Previous work with federal/provincial public-sector healthcare providers preferred.
  
• Familiarity with Public Sector Enterprise Architecture and methodologies.
  

MUST HAVES:

• Developing Enterprise Application Integration Solutions in MuleSoft platform.
  
• 10+ years of full-cycle software development experience.
  
• MuleSoft Certified developer preferred.
