    Position at FloForm Countertops With 16 branches and 6 manufacturing facilities located in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada, FLOFORM Countertops manufactures, sells and installs over 20,000 premium surface countertops a year. Established in 1961, FLOFORM is proud to be one of the Best Managed Companies in North America. Required immediately, our Saskatoon branch is seeking a General Manager

    Position Summary:
    The primary goal of the General Manager is to expand the customer base while maintaining effective relationships with our customers to drive long term sales goals. The GM will oversee all functions of the branches within the designated area from the hiring of employees to managing customer relations to implementing business strategies.

    Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate great leadership skills with a strong sales and marketing background
  • Business/General Management experience in a multi-unit location corporate environment (5-10 years)
  • Has a passion for sales and enjoys spending time in the field
  • Drive/Grow sales, leading and collaborating with sales team
  • Understanding and/or experience in manufacturing
  • Post-Secondary Education, BA (preferred)
  • Advanced computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office products
  • Awareness of accounting principles an asset
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and people
  • Handle challenging situations with diplomacy, tact and respect
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Excel in problem solving on a daily basis
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develops and executes Sales Plans to ensure customer account base sales growth, with both existing and new accounts within the assigned markets
  • Ensure an active sales assignment with key accounts in your region
  • Constant evaluation of Segment and Account sales results, to provide Impactful changes to achieve Area Sales Plan
  • Talent Development – assesses, attracts, trains and retains the top talent within the local marketplace
  • Manages expenses with approved budgets, develops and overseas sales plans and recommend marketing strategies for the local market
  • Maintains awareness of area market trends/activity and competitors in the industry
  • Live the value of exceptional customer service by maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and establishing good relationships with new ones
  • Increases the overall productivity of the area markets by implementing relevant employee training, budgeting effectively, eliminating inefficiencies and capturing growth opportunities while continually fostering a strong sales culture and "team" atmosphere
  • Manages daily operations, especially customer service and finance activities, and makes improvements as needed within each assigned branch, as well as compliance with company and industry policies and procedures
  • Proposes and rolls out changes and/or new initiatives to support Company goals
  • Prepares departmental reports and completes employee administration
  • Ability to travel when required
