Chrome Shop Operator

Role Summary/Purpose
Chrome Plating Operator follows the stablished procedures for each step as per Chrome Shop Functional Work Instructions. Based in Lufkin manufacturing facility located in Red Deer, Alberta.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Report daily production using JDE Program
  • Performing daily housekeeping following the 5S program
  • Performing Laboratory Operations as described in Chrome Shop Functional Work Instructions, found at QMS Portal website
  • Completing mandatory online training
  • Completing mandatory logbooks
  • Ensure compliance in respective areas of control with all QHSE Management System requirements, policies and procedures
  • Ensure product quality, workmanship and conformance to all applicable processes, requirements and regulatory standards in accordance with the established quality assurance system
  • Fully participate in EHS Management Programs and comply with all Environmental, Health & Safety regulations
  • Be a proactive team member and identify needs for product lines and/or processes
  • Issue Stop Work when required
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Ability to read and follow written instructions, analyze, and interpret working drawings, technical specifications, etc.
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Experience with overhead lifting equipment
  • High School GED (General Education Diploma) or equivalent
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions with mínimal supervision
