Service and Warranty Coordinator


For larger projects that exceed his/her skills or time available, this role will require that you secure subcontractors and coordinate the work on behalf of Dilworth Homes.


QUALIFICATIONS
years' experience with basic building systems

  • Equipped with your own basic carpentry and repair tools is an asset.
  • Use of a daily work vehicle, cell phone and computer (package to be provided by DH).
  • A driver's abstract will be required.
  • General computer skills for record keeping and communication are necessary.
  • A minimum of three years' relevant experience is required.
  • Some basic building systems knowledge is required.
  • Must be physically fit with the ability to lift, carry or move heavy items.
  • Must possess a safety oriented and safety conscience attitude.
  • Must have own tools and a valid driver's license.
  • Must be flexible and willing to change roles or responsibilities as required and have the ability to work extra hours as they may vary for high season, month end turnover and oncall rotations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Possess sensational customer service philosophy.
  • Highly organized, results oriented and ability to work in a multifunctional team environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Dilworth Homes Warranty

  • Assist Site Superintendents to achieve deficiency free new homes ready for turnover.
  • Review punchlist and ensure subcontractors are complete.
  • Call and coordinate trades to complete deficient work and report delinquent trade partners to the Construction Manager.
  • Ensure appliance installation is completed, tagged, and approved.
  • Revisit each constructed home to complete or assign oneyear warranty items.
  • Work with Construction Manager to resolve warranty related disputes with homeowners, when required
  • Complete client service request walk throughs
  • Manage pending service requests to completion
  • Manage Travellers Canada claims to completion
