Scope of the Position
The order fulfillment manager will oversee and coordinate the daily warehousing activities.

They will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits.

The order fulfillment manager will be direct, possess excellent communication skills and follow up diligently with direct reports and will be responsible for performing daily walk around to identify, communicate and initiate corrective actions for any safety hazards as needed.

The goal is to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations.

Major Responsibilities

Maintains distribution operations by initiating, coordinating and enforcing programs, operational and personnel policies and procedures.
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods
Provide feedback on the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance
Support and guide growth and development of direct reports
Ensure shipments' and inventory transactions' accuracy
Maintain accuracy in inventory and outgoing shipments
Determine staffing levels and assign workload.
Manage order fulfillment to maximize service to customer within budgeted cost structures.
Communicate job expectations and coach employees.
Ensure new and current employees are trained properly on all equipment
Maintains all records for the warehouse including: training, maintenance, prestarts
Responsible for ensuring equipment is in good working order, locking/tagging out when needed, calling for service etc.
Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems
Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices
Maintains a clean and organized warehouse and assists in maintaining the security and safety of the warehouse
Ensures warehouse is set up in an efficient manner to ensure optimal workflow and maintains inventory locations
Reports incidents and health and safety issue in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

57 years experience working in a warehouse.
Ability to map out a warehouse
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations
Responsible and extremely reliable
Proven warehouse supervisory experience
Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques
Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency
Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
Handson commitment to getting the job done
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
Strong organizational and time management skills
