Building Inspector / Plan Checker

Picture yourself as a Building Inspector/ Plan Checker with a municipality striving to be a City of the Future Using your related experience, you will examine plans and authorize construction for residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects, subdivision, lot development, and site grading/drainage work. You will conduct site inspections of works and subdivision development to ensure compliance with BC Building Codes and City approved subdivision bylaws and guidelines.

Qualifications
Building or Architectural Technology Diploma (or equivalent education)
BOABC certification – Level 3 (candidates with Level 1 &2 may also be considered)
Relevant experience in plan checking or building inspection
Professional Credibility
Valid BC Drivers License – Class 5
