RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist clients with ambulation, feeding, bathing and grooming.
Consult with care manager on activities, needs and problems related to client care.
Transfers client in/out of bed, to/from wheelchair, toilet and chair using one or two person transfers or mechanical lifts as per the client care plan.
Assist to the client with nutritional assistance. e.g. meals. Report any appetite/fluid intake changes or concerns immediately to the Nurse.
Document client care according to established procedures and reports concerns, problems and/or changes.
Adhere to policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, safety, and environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Health Care Aide certification.
Long Term Care experience.
Recent and clear Criminal Record Check
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to deal with others effectively.
Ability to organize work.
Ability to operate related equipment.
Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

Job Types:
Full time.

Salary starts:
$20.00 per hour

Schedule :
flexible schedule (daytime, evening)

COVID-19 considerations:
All workers must wear a mask, gloves, and socially distance from clients when possible. We do not service care homes and only service individual clientele in their own homes.
