As a building electromechanic technician for our buildings and facilities team located in Senneville, you will be responsible for supporting the site's technical service and building maintenance.
In this role, key responsibilities may include:
- Carry out preventive maintenance according to the established schedule on equipment such as: ventilation, pump, reverse osmosis system,
- Perform corrective tasks arising from preventive maintenance or according to calls placed to the service desk.
- Checking ventilation systems, shutters, coil, humidifier, control
- Checking pressure and humidity probes (validation or replacement)
- Reading of pressure differentials for different specialized rooms
- Ensure that spaces are comfortable for users (Thermal)
- Issuance of official deviation memo if applicable
- Air balance check
- Ensure that laboratory evacuators are operating normally
- Operating systems with Metasys software
- Verification of probes and alarms in critical rooms and spaces
- Assist and/or support external contractors during special projects
- Assist and collaborate with Stationary Machinery Mechanics
- Participate in projects with project managers
- Diagnosis of control (low voltage) and mechanical problems
Key Elements
We are looking for the following minimum qualifications for this role:
- DEP in electromechanics
- 2 years of relevant experience in the field is required.
- Reading and writing French and English are required. Bilingualism is required.
- Knowledge of industrial ventilation systems
- Knowledge of the METASYS automated building system (an important asset)
- Experience working in an institutional environment (laboratories, an asset)
- Use of computerassisted maintenance management system (CMMS) (asset)
- The ability to work in a team
- Demonstrate flexibility and ability to work independently

- Schedule: Monday to Friday with possibility of overtime
