Summary:


Reporting to the Director, Business Development and Special testing, the Business Planning Analyst will have an entrepreneurial mindset and will provide leadership in the identification, planning and implementation of business development opportunities to maximize financial returns to GRH.

By way of creating effective Business Plans, the incumbent, will help realize long-term organizational strategic goals for revenue generation and be responsible for identifying new business opportunities based on research/analysis, and create value for GRH through the creation and management of key partnerships, programs/business ventures, while working within the framework and direction of GRH's strategic plan.

The Analyst will be the vital link between both clinical/non-clinical teams and BDO.

By consulting with various internal and external stakeholders, the Analyst will translate clinical needs and revenue generating ideas into solution requirements by creating and implementing Business plans for the various initiatives.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement business plans, processes and procedures to achieve organization goals.
  • Translate high level business concepts/ideas to actionable business plans
  • Define and implement business strategy to meet organization objectives by Identifying and proposing solutions for business needs.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of business operations and functions.
  • Develop business processes, practices and tools, and facilitate implementation with the clinical teams
  • Participate in the development or evaluation of business solutions by analyzing the impacts on the existing environment
  • Execute complex analysis, identify root cause of problems and contribute to development of solutions
  • Performing analysis on current state and future state business processes, identifying gaps, and making gap recommendations to stakeholders
  • Monitors and tracks performance, and addresses any issues.
  • Quantify the impacts of initiatives or operational activities on the bottom line
  • Analyze and document complex risk and mitigation procedures related to new and existing businesses.
  • Break down strategic problems, and analyse data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Liaise with Clinical partners to analyze complex problems, and understand business goals and objectives and develops solutions/makes recommendations based on an understanding of the business strategy and stakeholder needs.
  • Builds effective relationships, collaborates and ensures alignment of BDO with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Works with internal customers, stakeholders and SMEs to elicit, gather the requirements and translate into business plans with prioritization
  • Coordinate with various teams to analyze business requirements, planning, and operating forecast.
  • Consult with management on project and/or business needs, opportunities and operational effectiveness
  • Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Share work methods and techniques with team members concerning analysis, business architecture and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with Hospital laws and regulations.
  • Successfully manage competing priorities and navigate within ambiguity
  • Integrate business principles and practices to ensure consistency and evolution of the company's business vision
  • Monitor best practices, new technologies and business practices in the healthcare domain
  • Maintain indepth knowledge of latest Healthcare business developments and market trends.
  • Prepare, maintain and update procedures, process, and specification documents
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings with project sponsors and management
  • Participate in the realization of deliverable

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or a related Healthcare field
  • Masters in Business Administration or Health Services Administration preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) would be good to have but not a must have
  • Knowledge and leading experience in Business development
  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in a similar role preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Clinical experience would be an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, Visio, MS Project and SharePoint with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with large scale organizational change initiatives
  • Business analysis and workflow charting experience
  • Strong business plan writing skills
  • Experience working with project management methodologies and clinical process analysis
  • Excellent critical thinking and decisionmaking skills
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented person
  • High level of initiative and decisiveness with the ability to work effectively and meet competing dead
