    *MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR**Position based in Halifax*Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, you will plan, coordinate and supervise all maintenance activities related to the upkeep of cranes, machinery, conveyors and buildings at our Halifax and Sheet Harbour marine terminals. You will lead your team in an engaging way to achieve our operational, quality and health & safety objectives, while fostering a good working climate. You may also be required to travel occasionally to our marine terminal in Saint John (NB).

    *MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Plan and coordinate the maintenance of all our equipment and prioritize interventions;
    • Identify the manpower, maintenance time, materials and financial resources required to carry out the work;
    • Ensure the quality of maintenance performed to optimize asset availability, reliability, safety and performance;
    • Coach and mentor team members to develop their skills and adopt best practices;
    • Ensure the application of safe work methods;
    • Mobilize your team to ensure a good working climate and achieve operational objectives.
    *WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
    • College diploma or professional degree in mechanics, industrial or mechanical engineering, or any other relevant training;
    • Experience in maintenance management or any other related field;
    • Experience in supervising personnel;
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and asset management software;
    • Leadership, team spirit and versatility;
    • Knowledge of forklifts, reach stackers and conveyors is an asset.
