Centre Street Physiotherapy and Wellness Clinic is a private multidisciplinary clinic that is located in very well established communities of Thorncliff and Greenview. We are uniquely located at a very busy strip mall that includes Medical clinics, Pharmacy, Grocery store, Restaurant etc., and an intersection with lots of walk by traffic and ample parking spaces. Our Services include Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Acupuncture and Massage therapy.


Purpose
The Administrative Assistant/Reception supports clinic practitioners on client service matters and operations through timely, courteous, respectful, and helpful communication.

The Administrative Assistant/Reception organizes and coordinates all patient and practitioner requirements, while maintaining a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, exceptional communications, and safety.

Start Date

  • As soon as possible.

Responsibilities and Activities

  • Receives and coordinate all inbound calls;
  • Handles all data entry of new patient files;
  • Greets and check patients in and out
  • Process patient payments and 3rd Party submissions
  • Coordinates all reception services effectively and maintain a current and open communication line between reception staff to ensure continuity of day to day operations and patient/practitioner needs
  • Ensure timely communication to the Clinic Administrator in the event of an incident or unsatisfied patient or practitioner
  • General clinic housekeeping responsibilities to maintain tidiness and a safe work environment

Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of Physiotherapy software like Practice perfect, Janeapp, innocare is an asset but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of clerical practices and procedures;

Skills

  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy;
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability;
  • Ability to respond appropriately in pressure situations with a calm and steady demeanor;
  • Strong written communication skills: including a strong understanding of grammar and formatting;
  • Excellent interpersonal and customerfacing skills with an ability to develop and maintain healthy working relationships;
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Strong work ethic and coachable attitude;
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

Experience:


  • Physio/Chiro Clinic software: 1 year (preferred)
Administrative Support: 1 year (preferred)
