Background:

Borrum Energy Solutions ), design, manufacture (outsourced) and pre-assemble microgeneration wind turbines targeted at rural dwellings located in provincial rural settings as well as Northern Canada.

These microgeneration wind turbines are designed to be assembled horizontally by the dwelling owner and raised vertically with the help of a winch or vehicle.

In addition to reducing energy costs for the dwelling owner, these microgeneration wind turbines reduce green house emission by reducing dependency on diesel generation.

The electricity generated will be "off grid", "behind the meter" or fed to the electrical grid.


Responsibilities:

• Initiate, manage, and optimize outsourcing machining manufacturing purchase orders in Canada and abroad.
• Initiate, manage, and optimize purchase order for components.
• Create and manage Bill of Material for each one of the wind turbines available to customers.
• Create and manage a Bill of Material for each one of the towers available to customers.
• Manage and help with crate and skid shipping.
• Manage inventory and initiate reorders.
• Help in assembling turbine generators.

Qualifications:

• College Mechanical or Electrical degree or equivalent.
• Supply Line management knowledge or experience.
• Hands on inclined.

Work Environment

Borrum Energy Solutions' offices are in Kitchener. The office is served by public transit including LRT. Technicians and engineers have access to Fusion3060, SOLIDWORKS and ANSYS as well as MATLAB. A 3D printer provides for prototyping and components production capabilities. An assembly section is integrated within the office space.
