Description
Structural Steel company seeking a qualified shipper/receiver to oversee all yard responsibilities.Duties Include;
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders
- Unload and unpack items from delivery trucks
- Inspect and record any damages or discrepancies in shipments
- Sort and organize received items in designated storage areas
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items
- Ensure accuracy of order fulfillment and maintain proper documentation
- Operate forkliforand crane to move and store materials
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock checks
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize warehouse operations
- Experience with order fulfillment processes and procedures
- Proficiency in operating a forklift
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution operations and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Ability to package items securely for shipment to prevent damage
- Physical stamina to load and unload heavy packages as needed

Salary:
$25.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
