Description

Structural Steel company seeking a qualified shipper/receiver to oversee all yard responsibilities.

Duties Include;

Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against the purchase orders
Unload and unpack items from delivery trucks
Inspect and record any damages or discrepancies in shipments
Sort and organize received items in designated storage areas
Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling items
Ensure accuracy of order fulfillment and maintain proper documentation
Operate forkliforand crane to move and store materials
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock checks
Collaborate with other team members to optimize warehouse operations

Experience with order fulfillment processes and procedures
Proficiency in operating a forklift
Familiarity with warehouse distribution operations and best practices
Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory tracking
Ability to package items securely for shipment to prevent damage
Physical stamina to load and unload heavy packages as needed
