True North Positioning provides measuring services for multiple trades in the construction industry. Services include construction layout and as-builds, 3D modeling and scanning, earthwork volume calculations and consulting services.


Job description
We are currently hiring Cad Technician/ BIM Coordination Team Members for the Greater Toronto Area.


Responsibilities include:


  • Prepare 2D and 3D models and survey points for field survey from architectural, structural, precast, electrical, mechanical, specifications and engineering data.
  • Collaborate with survey field technicians and subtrades to assist in identifying constructability issues with drawings and models.
  • Utilize Revit and CAD software to design, prepare and produce detailed asbuild drawings and 3D models as per project specifications.
  • Convert 3D point clouds into 3D models
  • Collaborate with contractor BIM teams to create accurate survey data and 3D models
  • Independently carryon communication with general contractors, architects and internal stake holders in regards scope of work for the project assigned.
  • Organize and maintain the digital files for the projects in the respective files within project cloud storage.

Salary:
$60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
