Investment Support Representative in
Kitchener.
The investment support team serves Kindred with centralized administration relating to registered and non-registered investments.

Our mandate is to consistently deliver an exemplary member experience that is characterized by trustworthy guidance, creative solutions, and reliable administration while safeguarding Kindred's brand and reputation with integrity.

This role is responsible for completing registered and non-registered transactions and providing internal support for Retail and Wealth partners relating to administration of registered/non-registered plans and deposit accounts.


Key Responsibilities - Tier One

  • Produces daily correspondence to notify members for upcoming term renewals.
  • Reviews daily reports, including registered plans and investment products updates
  • Processes term renewals following instructions; performing verification to listings; confirming membership ownership, interest rate, and other details, so these are executed accurately.
  • Executes a variety of transaction requests received from Wealth and Retail partners through Kindred's contact management system (ACE), including GIC renewals, transfers in, transfers out, and related member requests.

Key Responsibilities - Tier Two

  • Responds to internal member inquiries, providing information, answering questions, and investigating escalated concerns.
  • Builds own capabilities and completes cross training to support services across registered plans, including RESP, RRSP, RRIF, RDSP, Investment Shares, Group RSP.
  • Provides support to Retail and Wealth colleagues for registered plans and products. Completes transfers out following established processes.
  • Provides internal support for incoming inquiries from Retail and Wealth partners
  • Completes assigned regular reporting requirements for Kindred, regulators, CRA, or other partners, meeting deadlines, ensuring completeness and accuracy, to protect members assets and steward Kindred's portfolio.

Plus, you bring your qualifications and experience:

  • Completion of post secondary education
  • 3 years of related experience in financial services, including
  • 12 years of administrative experience in registered and nonregistered investments
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Solid understanding of registered and nonregistered plans and products
