    Durham College seeks a strategic and transformational leader for its Faculty of Business.

    The Executive Dean provides academic and administrative leadership to faculty members, administrators and support staff that contributes to ongoing success and growth within a highly competitive and rapidly changing environment.

    The incumbent is part of the Academic Leadership Team and works collaboratively to achieve the College's strategic vision, mission and academic goals, along with those in its Academic Plan.

    Reporting to the Vice-President, Academic, the Executive Dean creates a positive and inclusive work environment, advances exemplary teaching and learning, supports applied research activities, strengthens work-integrated learning opportunities, and executes the development, delivery and ongoing review of market-driven programs that reflect industry trends, realizing the Faculty of Business recruitment and enrolment goals.

    As a visionary leader, the Executive Dean is responsible for building and strengthening collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners.

    Establishing positive relationships with the community, industry and business representatives, exercising sound financial management and participating in the College's student recruitment and job placement initiatives are critical aspects of this leadership position.
