What we are looking for:

***Working out of the Markham Site you will provide coverage to both the Markham and Uxbridge Sites. You will interact with professional practice, clinical staff, information technology, quality improvement, decision support and health information management; ensuring that information is available to, and appropriately used by, clinicians, managers and directors to enhance clinical care and patient health outcomes. In collaboration with the Information Technology and Professional Practice teams, you will actively participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of informatics projects, including the Advanced Clinical Phases of Meditech Expanse to improve clinical processes and outcomes.


What you bring to the role:

  • University degree in either Healthcare Science, Computer science or related discipline
  • 2 years recent informatics experience preferred
  • Proven proficient computer skills and working experience with computerized patient care systems, ideally MEDITECH Expanse clinical software
  • Excellent communication, leadership, project management and change management skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, consultative and criticalthinking skills in a qualityfocused and teamdriven environment with a working knowledge of quality improvements principles
  • Excellent interpersonal, team oriented, collaborative, and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrates support for eHealth initiatives across the organization
  • Maintains membership in relevant professional organizations and uptodate knowledge of current trends in informatics and participates in reflective practice to continually improve performance

  • Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain these same standards

  • Primarily onsite at 381 Church St., Markham, Ontario, with some travel as needed to Uxbridge
  • Possibility to work remote up to 40%
