Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience selling analytics, data warehousing, or data management software.
  • 7 years of experience planning, pitching, and executing a territory sales strategy.
  • Experience in working with developers and customer technical leads to build business cases and accompanying plans for implementation.
  • Experience with commercial and legal agreements with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French fluently.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Experience with Data Analytics (DA) technology stack (e.g., Business Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, Hadoop/Spark Data lakes, Columnar Data Warehouses, Data Streaming, ETL and Data governance).
  • Experience working with and managing partners in complex implementation projects including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud DA offerings (e.g., BigQuery, Looker, DataProc, PubSub, etc.)
  • Ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders as a business advisor and thought leader in Data Analytics (DA).

About the job:


As a Data Analytics Sales Specialist, you will lead go-to-market strategies and business plays, managing campaigns, and provide feedback to Product and Global Solutions teams to inform our product solutions road map.

You will serve as a solution executive within the direct enterprise sales organization.

You will be the advisor to C-level and their executives to help shape their cloud and data analytics strategy and enable digital transformation.

In this role, you will help customers improve their productivity and harness the power of the products to make their organizations more productive, collaborative, and available to their customers.

Responsibilities:


  • Calibrate the business against the objectives and key results. Accurately forecast and report the state of the business for the territory.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, including a broader enterprise plan across key verticals.
  • Assist customers in identifying use cases suitable for Google Cloud data and analytics solutions. Articulate key solution differentiators and the measurable business impact.
  • Work with Google account and technical teams to develop and drive pipelines, and provide expertise. Execute Go-ToMarket business plays and related efforts with the Cloud teams and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Partners.
