Quadera is a property management company that has been operating in Thunder Bay since 1976. We manage a variety of residential and commercial rental properties.

Job Purpose
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for addressing maintenance requests and maintaining the overall buildings and grounds as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Preform minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and ventilating systems.
Perform routine maintenance work such as carpentry, painting, and drywall repair.
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and make minor purchases as required.
Perform routine inspections of apartment units and building systems.
Contact and coordinate tradespersons for major repairs when necessary.
Provide general assistance to skilled trade persons such as mechanics, electricians, carpenters, and plumbers.
Coordinate and prepare apartment units for turnover to new residents.
May sometimes move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies.
May supervise other workers.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in a construction or maintenance related job.
Handson work experience in carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and/or electrical.
Relevant educational certification.
Resourceful at troubleshooting technical problems.
Selfmotivated and able to work independently.
Willing to work a variety of hours am, pm, weekday, weekends, and holidays, as required.
Capable of lifting 50lbs.

Salary:
From $28.00 per hour
