About the Role
To help our customers create safer and sustainable workplaces we are looking for a Product Manager to join our EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) product team.
Our EHS portfolio consists of several products and this role is for the eCompliance product based out of North America.
At EcoOnline, Product Managers have a very central role, and you will have an important responsibility in setting the direction for the product and company.
Product Managers hold the responsibility for the successful delivery and commercialization of the products, working closely with the Engineers, Designers, Product Marketing, other Product Managers and key business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for the long-term success of your area/product, by delivering on customer and end user outcomes, business outcomes and strategic outcomes.
Discovery:
- Understanding and documenting industry, customers, and end user needs
- Discover the right problems to be solved using data & insights and turning it into viable solution concepts, specifications, roadmaps, and delivery plans.
- Rapidly adjust and improve the product and packaging using product metrics and customer insights on continuous basis.
Delivery:
- Articulate detailed user stories, participate in daily scrum rituals, and answer questions as the customer representative.
- Work with engineering to execute on your product vision from conception to launch
- Develop and measure products metrics to drive product growth
- Ensure efficient execution of product development and delivery of your product missions
- Communicate delivery progress and status updates with key stakeholders, escalating blockers
- Assist with product release communications, internal & external
GTM:
- Sales enablement work with Product Marketing to communicate the value proposition of products to the Sales team and develop sales tools that support the selling process of products.
- Go to Market Strategy work with Product Marketing to define and execute go to market strategy for new products and features.
Qualifications
- 23 years of product management experience or similar roles on a technical or customer facing team
- Bachelor's degree required, Business / Engineering / Design or other technical degree preferred
- Strong bias to action with a positive attitude
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a datadriven mindset
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, make tough decisions, and prioritize effectively in a fastpaced environment.
- Customer focused mindset, with the ability to conduct user interviews and research and make informed decisions
- Actively listen and ask questions to understand other people's viewpoints, communicate issues promptly
- Good understanding of how to use qualitative and quantitative research to drive product and marketing strategy
- Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and a proven record of being able to deliver value quickly in this way
- An understanding of basic project management principles and the ability to prioritize work based on greatest business impact.
- Experience with data infrastructure, and data management tools, to effectively manage and utilize data assets in product decisionmaking and development is a plus
- Strong appreciation for user design and user behaviours
- Natural leadership, communication, and influence skills
- The ability to work with product metric tools to make data informed decisions
Additional Requirements:
- Experience working with B2B SaaS products
- Knowledge of Product Analytics tools such as Pendo, Amplitude or Mixpanel along with experience in analysing data to provide actionable insights
- Experience in/knowledge of EHSQ industry
