The Opportunity

The Coastal GasLink Finance team, within TCE's Finance and Evaluations department, is looking to add an #EnergyProblemSolver in Calgary to support financing activities for the Coastal GasLink Pipeline project ("CGL").

What you'll do

Support in the financial modelling of the project
Support in the draw process to access funds from the credit facility
Assist in ensuring compliance with key terms of debt and equity agreements
Work with multistakeholder team towards preparation and distribution of reports to CGL, partners and lenders and any related analysis
Contribute to manage and improve processes supporting the CGL finance activities
Manage tasks including administration of SharePoint sites, scheduling meetings with key stakeholders, coordinating the review of periodic / adhoc reports from consultants
Maintaining Power BI report and work with internal groups in cash forecasting process
Other related responsibilities as required

Minimum Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business or related discipline
4 years or more business experience, preferably in the energy industry and finance
Understanding of governance and ability to create processes that meet compliance requirements
An alternate combination of education and experience may be considered

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to work with ambiguity
Excellent work ethic, problem solving skills and ability to work independently and to tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to maintain collaborative working relationships
Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Strong financial analysis, modelling and reporting skills
Experience in process improvement / automation
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience working with SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, Power Automate
