The Opportunity


The Coastal GasLink Finance team, within TCE's Finance and Evaluations department, is looking to add an #EnergyProblemSolver in Calgary to support financing activities for the Coastal GasLink Pipeline project ("CGL").

What you'll do

  • Support in the financial modelling of the project
  • Support in the draw process to access funds from the credit facility
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with key terms of debt and equity agreements
  • Work with multistakeholder team towards preparation and distribution of reports to CGL, partners and lenders and any related analysis
  • Contribute to manage and improve processes supporting the CGL finance activities
  • Manage tasks including administration of SharePoint sites, scheduling meetings with key stakeholders, coordinating the review of periodic / adhoc reports from consultants
  • Maintaining Power BI report and work with internal groups in cash forecasting process
  • Other related responsibilities as required
Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, business or related discipline
  • 4 years or more business experience, preferably in the energy industry and finance
  • Understanding of governance and ability to create processes that meet compliance requirements
  • An alternate combination of education and experience may be considered
Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work with ambiguity
  • Excellent work ethic, problem solving skills and ability to work independently and to tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to maintain collaborative working relationships
  • Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong financial analysis, modelling and reporting skills
  • Experience in process improvement / automation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, Power Automate
