Description
The Company is accepting applications for a Full Time Maintenance Mechanics/MillwrightPay:
35.49/hour + Full Benefits Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor your responsibilities are: Day to Day maintenance of equipment
Trouble shooting, preventive and predictive maintenance
Communication with shift supervisors and managers
Participation in or conducting training on familiarity with equipment
Provide mechanical maintenance and set up of all related pack room process equipment
Assembling equipment, mounting electrical boxes, retrieve parts for work in progress, painting, locating production equipment, general housekeeping of job site areas, cutting steel
Welding, use of a cutting torch and terminating wires
Other general maintenance duties as required Qualifications of the job are: Valid Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Ticket an asset
Open to other forms of mechanical licesnses or apprentices
Certified from a recognized Apprenticeship Program
Ability to identify and use basic hand/power tools in a safe and efficient manner
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Willing and capable of completing necessary safety training (i.e. lockout, etc.)
Ability to do some bending, lifting, climb stairs and ladders
Must be able to read and interpret blue prints
Must pass a practical job-related skills test (i.e. tools, measurement, welding)
Experience with hi-speed packaging equipment will be considered an asset
Experience in the food industry and general maintenance is an asset
Computer skills and familiar with CMMS's systems
