    WORK SCHEDULE, PAY RATE & LOCATION:

    As a Service & Maintenance Technician at Trust Home Comfort, you'll enjoy a full-time schedule, working 40 hours per week. Some weekend work or overtime is required to accommodate our customers' needs. In addition to the rewarding work, we offer a competitive pay rate of $33-37 per hour, reflecting your experience and expertise. Along with a great salary, we provide great benefits, including medical, holiday pay, vacation pay, and profit-sharing for craftsmanship, plus company-paid uniforms, gas cards for the company vehicle, and the use of a company vehicle for work purposes. Our location is based in Edmonton, Alberta, and you'll have the opportunity to serve clients in the surrounding areas.

    A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SERVICE & MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN:

As a Service & Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for executing planned service inspections, performing repair services, installing equipment, and responding to emergency service calls. Armed with your technical knowledge and skills, you'll tackle a variety of HVAC tasks throughout the day. From diagnosing complex issues to installing new systems, every job presents a new challenge. You'll work closely with our team, ensuring seamless collaboration and exceptional service delivery. At the end of the day, you'll feel fulfilled, knowing that you've made a difference in our customers' lives.

    WHAT IT TAKES TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

    To be considered for this Service & Maintenance Technician position, you'll need to meet the following minimum requirements:

    • At least 3 years of experience performing HVAC equipment maintenance, repair, and/or installation tasks.
    • A valid driver's license to ensure reliable transportation to job sites.
    • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration.
    • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues.
    • Proficiency in reading technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
    • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • A valid HVAC technician license or certification (e.g., EPA 608 Certification) to demonstrate your expertise.
