***: Reporting to the General Manager, as the Leasing Coordinator Special Projects/Float for TPFA you will lead and oversee critical initiatives and projects that are non-routine and strategically important to the organization. Your role is to plan, execute, and deliver these projects successfully, ensuring they align with organizational goals and drive business outcomes. This multifaceted position requires strong project management skills, strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. When not completing special projects, you will be responsible for covering Leasing Coordinator vacancies throughout the HMB buildings where you will be the first point of contact and making connections with our applicants, families, and tenants. In a unique and fast paced work environment, you will be interacting with people from all walks of life including some of Calgary's most vulnerable populations. LEASING COORDINATOR (SPECIAL PROJECTS) KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of special projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and on target.
  • Collaborate with senior management to align projects with the organization's strategic objectives, identifying key deliverables and milestones.
  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams, including departments like marketing, operations, IT, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with various stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders, addressing issues and making adjustments as needed.

LEASING COORDINATOR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

  • Present the community and apartment to potential tenants.
  • Perform all leasing and tenant related functions.
  • Metrics variances which include vacancies, renewals, movein, moveout, notices and rent roll to name a few.
  • Maintain knowledge of the property, including available suites, type and layout, common areas and amenities of the building as well as surrounding neighborhoods and competitive analysis for knowledge of valueadded services.
  • Handle all inquiries, feedback, complaints, or concerns in a timely and professionally.
  • Schedule move in and move outs with elevators.
  • Assist with collection of delinquent rents.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 12year relevant experience and postsecondary education preferred.
  • Excellent customer service delivery.
  • Administrative and junior level property management experience is an asset.
  • Ability to easily connect with others.
  • Strong team and relationship building attitude.
  • Ability to manage tight timelines and multiple priorities.
  • Must be available to work alternate weekends.
