Peeters Mushroom Farm is a family owned operation that has been serving communities with high quality mushroom product for 40 years.

Peeters is excited to be seeking to add a member of our team in the position of:


Harvesting Labourer

Responsibilities _(include but not limited to)_:

  • Hand picking mushrooms and cutting stems, sorting, weighing, and packing mushrooms
  • Loading, unloading, and transferring crates, supplies, farm produce and products for transport,
  • Cleaning as needed
  • Following company's Food Safety Plan (SQF Code) i.e. GMPs, SOPs, Food Safety and Quality concerns to be immediately addressed with either Manager or Harvest Supervisor

Qualifications

  • No experience is required as full training is provided.
  • Ability to speak and read basic English is required
Piece-pay system in place - ability to pick up to $22/hour
