    Our challenge
    We are seeking a skilled Data Integrator + SSIS Developer to join our banking client's data team.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust ETL workflows and data integration solutions using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

    You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow for reporting, analytics, and compliance purposes within a dynamic banking environment.

    Additional Information*The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.

    In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Mississauga, ON is CAD $100k – CAD $110k/year & benefits (see below).

    The Role

    Responsibilities:


    Design, develop, and optimize ETL packages using SSIS to extract, transform, and load data from multiple banking systems into centralized data repositories.

    Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
    Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity throughout the data pipeline.
    Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, perform performance tuning, and optimize package execution.
    Develop and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and business rules.
    Implement and adhere to security standards and data governance policies.
    Support data migration and integration initiatives for new banking systems or upgrades.
    Assist in the automation of data workflows and implement best practices for ETL development.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    Proven experience in ETL development using SSIS in a banking or financial services environment.
    Strong knowledge of SQL Server (2016/2019 or later), including T-SQL and stored procedures.
    Hands-on experience with data migration, data warehousing, and relational databases.
    Familiarity with banking data standards, regulations, and security protocols.
    Experience working with large, complex datasets and integrating diverse banking systems.
    Knowledge of additional data integration tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Informatica) is a plus.
    Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
    Strong communication and teamwork skills.


    Preferred, but not required:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    Certifications in SQL Server, SSIS, or Data Integration (preferred).
