Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Global Mobility team by supporting the delivery of the Assignment/Relocation Policies while ensuring all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Key Accountabilities
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Daytoday administration of the Global Mobility program:
- Prepare cost estimates for the HR Business Partners and Business Lines
- Prepare and deliver Assignment Letters and Compensation Packages
- Consultations with transferee/Assignee outlining and reviewing the Bank's Relocation Polices and Benefits
- Engage and liaise with the various vendors supporting the Bank's Relocation Programs
- Provide ongoing HR support to the Assignee while on assignment
- Preparation of the biannual Assignment Compensation Package updates and facilitates payroll updates
- Engage with Vendors supporting the Bank's Relocation Programs:
- Attend monthly status meetings
- Monthly reconciliation of invoices and charge out of expenses to the applicable Business Lines
- Responding to the vendor's inquiries in regards to our Assignee's files
- Contributes to the Yearend process by:
- Preparing and distributing Payroll Directions on Bank bonus and equity programs to ensure global tax reporting/compliance
- Assist with the preparation of the annual tax authorization listing
- Compiling employee compensation and tax information documents and delivering to the Bank's global tax provider for tax preparation purposes
- Champions a customer focus culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in daytoday activities and decisions.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of daytoday business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
- Champions a high performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
Experience / Education:
- Undergraduate University degree / College Diploma
- CHRP / CERC designation an asset but not essential
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point skills.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
- Strong Knowledge of the Bank's HRIS and payroll
