I'm a fine art documentary wedding photographer based in NYC with 20 years of experience, working in the luxury market ($20-30K weddings).
I'm looking for a strategic marketing assistant to help execute a comprehensive digital marketing plan while I focus on creative content and client work.

Target clients:
couples doing their own transformative inner work
Current focus:
repositioning from $10-15K to $20-30K market
Active blog ("Kiss Your Cameras For Me") with personal essays exploring photography, spiritual practice, and creativity

What I Need Help With:
- Instagram Management (2-3 posts/week)
Writing captions in my established voice (I'll provide examples/guidelines)
Strategic hashtag research (minimal, targeted approach - not generic wedding tags)
Posting schedule management
Story content (occasional, not daily)
- Pinterest Strategy
Creating pins from blog posts and portfolio work
Optimizing descriptions for search
Building boards that attract luxury/sophisticated clients
- Wedding Publication Submissions
Targeting high-end, artistic wedding features
Managing submission calendar and follow-ups
Understanding which weddings align with which publications
- Blog Support
Writing 10-15 shorter venue/location blog posts (I'll provide images, wedding details, and voice guidelines)
I'll continue writing personal essays; you'd handle SEO, formatting, cross-linking strategy
- Newsletter Launch Support (Jan 2025)
Content calendar planning
Design/template setup
Integration with blog content
What I'm Looking For:
Required Skills:
Excellent writing ability (can match sophisticated brand voice)
Strong understanding of SEO and content strategy
Experience with Instagram, Pinterest, Squarespace
Organized, detail-oriented, proactive
Understanding of luxury/editorial aesthetics (not mass market)
Bonus Points:
Background in fine art, editorial, or luxury brand marketing
Familiarity with wedding industry (but NOT generic wedding marketing tactics)
Copywriting experience
Newsletter platform experience (Mailchimp, Substack, etc.)
What Success Looks Like:
Consistent, strategic content across platforms
SEO-optimized blog posts driving organic traffic
Editorial publication features
Growing engagement with right-fit audience (not just volume)
Freed-up time for me to focus on creative essays and photography
Working Style:
Remote, flexible hours hours/week to start, potential to grow)
Monthly retainer preferred
Clear communication, regular check-ins
Autonomy with strategic guidance from me
Budget:
