Position Overview
Reporting to the VP Operations, The SMT Production Manager, lead and manage production supervisors, teams and activities to provide high product quality and service level to customers.
The goal is to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.
Primary Duties
- Promotes a healthy and motivating workplace environment
- Works closely with employee and communicate frequently
- Achieves monthly production volume planned
- Achieves production schedule as per plan
- Ensures production output meets quality and production rate standards
- Monitors production to identify risk and potential issues and put in place proper mitigation plan
- Reviews, monitors, and modifies practices, procedures and methods to eliminate waste and reduce costs
- Supervises and review performance of production personnel
- Defines goals & objectives and success measures for the team
- Determines appropriate production staffing levels for optimal and efficient quality production
- Takes actions and decisions to ensure that resources are in line with capacity requirements
- Works closely with maintenance team to ensure equipment is in good condition at all times
- Fosters and maintain a safe, productive and healthy work environment for all employees by demonstrating in words and in deeds the company's values, highlighting and acknowledging performance and success where appropriate
- Develops and implement plans focused on supporting an open communication environment between employees and management to quickly identify irritants, obstacles or issues
- Provides regular reporting to upper management
- Focuses on improving processes, method and tools on a continuous basis
Requirements:
- University degree in Operations management & logistics, production, or related sciences
- 5 years' experience in a similar position, preferably in automated electronic components assembly
- Deep knowledge of production management
- Experienced in managing change in a fastevolving environment
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics
- Outstanding communication ability
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
- Attention to details
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP software
- Bilingual

Pay:
$94,000.00-$140,000.85 per year
