As a
Punch Press Operator/Machine Set Up at Whitney Plastics, you will assist with the production of plastic packaging and mold jobs, with the goal of meeting production timelines and quality standards to meet customer expectations.

• Operate assigned production equipment, punch presses, while following instructions/directions from supervisory staff.
• Set up thermoforming machines with plastic rolls as required.
• Wrap skids of finished product.
• Ensure that all duties and tasks are carried out in a safe and efficient manner to ensure no one is placed in an unsafe situation.
• Report any unsafe practices and or conditions immediately.
• Develop an understanding of, and follow all plant rules and procedures.
• Maintain quality and quantity output standards.
• Provide input for continuous improvement.
• Maintain a clean workstation during your shift and clean workstation at shift end.
• Participate in process improvement meetings, offering suggestions.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to operate punch press machinery, standing for the duration of your shift.
• Ability to pack boxes with products, ensuring the quantity packed is accurate.
• Ability to lift boxes onto skids.
• Ability to maneuver plastic rolls onto thermoforming machine
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to wrap skids.

• Ability to communicate and provide feedback to coworkers and management in a positive, respectful manner.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on delivery needs.
• Ability to escalate issues, concerns to Management.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
